SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says he has had lunch with unionists twice this week to prepare for the May Day Rally.
Writing on his Facebook page, Mr Lee thanked them for sharing their members' views, and their sense of the challenges of transforming the Singapore economy.
He stressed that the government will continue to do its best for workers, especially the older ones, lower-income earners and PMEs.
Mr Lee said the government wants all Singaporeans to thrive in the new economic landscape. - CNA/ir
