Plenty of interest in S'pore's first retirement village
What's being marketed as Singapore's first retirement village, is generating plenty of interest.
About a thousand potential buyers turned up at the showflat of The Hillford in Upper Bukit Timah this morning.
And not all of them are middle-aged buyers; some were in their 20s.
On top of typical condo facilities, the 281-unit project features a 24-hour concierge service, as well as clinics and restaurants.
The development has a shorter 60-year lease.
It comprises one and two bedroom dual-key units.
Prices range from $388,000 to $648,000.
The development is expected to be completed in 2016.
