Pioneer Generation with disabilities to receive $100 monthly from September

From September, Pioneers with moderate to severe functional disabilities will receive $100 monthly to defray long-term care expenses.

Those who are eligible for the Pioneer Generation Disability Assistance Scheme or PioneerDAS will receive notification letters from end of this month.

Pioneers already under Eldershield, Interim Disability Assistance Programme for Elderly or the Foreign Domestic Worker Grant, will automatically be eligible for PioneerDAS.

Pioneers with moderate disability may also sign up for the scheme from next month.

PioneerDAS is part of the benefits under the Pioneer Generation Package that will be rolled out.

It'll be administered by the Agency for Integrated Care, an agency under the Health Ministry.
