SINGAPORE: Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Bilahari Kausikan will retire on 1 June.
The 58-year-old has served 31 years in the public sector.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Mr Kausikan will continue to contribute as an Ambassador-at-Large after his retirement.
Taking over from Mr Kausikan will be BG(NS) Chee Wee Kiong, who is currently the Second Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs. - CNA/jc
