PAP's Koh says it's important to have a good strong team and to continue to be sincere with residents

The People's Action Party's (PAP) candidate in the Punggol East by-election, Dr Koh Poh Koon, says it's important to have a good strong team and to continue to be sincere with residents.

He cited these as the key takeaways from his by-election bid.

Dr Koh, who spoke to reporters before setting off to thank residents this morning, said his vote share of 43.7 per cent wasn't too bad.

He said he's proud to have done his best.

Asked if he will run in the next general election, Dr Koh said he'll need to think deeper about this.

He said he'll be analysing the results and will wait for the prime minister's decision on where he can contribute.
