PAP's Koh says by-election momentum is going very strong
People's Action Party (PAP) candidate for Punggol East, Dr Koh Poh Koon, says the momentum of his by-election campaign is going "very strong".
He said residents have warmed up considerably to him and are familiar with the issues he's championing.
Dr Koh also said he feels energised with the support of the rest of the PAP members.
Speaker of Parliament & Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC, Madam Halimah Yacob, was among those who supported Dr Koh on the campaign trail on Wednesday.
She told reporters that if elected, Dr Koh will speak up for residents in Parliament and pursue issues concerning the elderly and the young with rigour and passion.
