PAP to put forward Resolution Statement at biennial convention
Singapore's ruling People's Action Party is holding its biennial Convention this weekend, and this year, a Resolution Statement will be put forward.
This will set out the broad directions for the Party amid a changing environment.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who is the PAP Secretary General, Minister Chan Chun Sing, the party's Organising Secretary, and five activists will speak at the Convention.
The Party says that over the last two months, the PAP has embarked on a series of engagement sessions, to seek views on the way forward.
And the Resolution Statement will be put forth to be endorsed at the Convention.
The theme of this year's Convention is, "Our New Way Forward: A Call to Action".
