P&G and A*Star new agreement

Consumer products giant Procter & Gamble and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research or "A*Star", have signed a new agreement to embark on a five-year research partnership with over 25 medical and research institutes in Singapore. 

The agreement, an extention of the one signed in 2010, will provide the potential for up to $60 million in joint funding. 

It will now a broader reach and allow P&G access to research services and facilities at Singapore's research hubs - Biopolis and Fusionopolis. 

P&G will also be able to tap into resources such as Singapore's universities and hospitals. 

It will also be offering industry-relevant PhD Programmes and post-doctoral fellowships.
