SINGAPORE: The haze subsidy scheme has seen around 8,200 attendances in GP clinics and another 2,600 attendances at polyclinics for haze-related conditions.
These figures were provided by Health Minister Gan Kim Yong in a written reply to MP for Marine Parade GRC, Associate Professor Fatimah Lateef.
The haze subsidy scheme was introduced on June 21 this year.
Under the scheme, elderly, children or the lower income group are eligible for a subsidised fee of S$10 for haze-related conditions.
Mr Gan also wrote that the number of participating GP clinics that have signed on to the scheme has increased from 200 to more than 650 clinics today.
