Organisers ready to cancel SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half marathon if haze worsens

Organisers of the SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon 2012 have said they are ready to cancel the event if the haze situation worsens.

This is if the Pollutant Standards Index, or PSI reaches an unhealthy level of more than 100, by Saturday evening.

As at 4pm today, the PSI reading is at 49, which is within the good range.

The organisers said they will monitor the haze situation closely.

Participants are advised to check the SAFRA website for more information.
