OpenNet further increases fibre installation capacity
SINGAPORE: OpenNet has increased its installation capacity by almost 15 per cent from 3,100 to 3,550 connections per week.
The builder of Singapore’s ultra—fast broadband network said the increase is effective from October 22 and follows a review of its existing capacity utilisation.
OpenNet’s director of business development and communications Daniel Ho said the company will continue to monitor and adjust its capacity to meet changes in demand.
He also said OpenNet’s fibre subscriber base has more than doubled in the last nine months to reach the 220,000 mark in September.
