NUS Appoints New Trustee to its Board
The National University of Singapore has appointed Elaine Yew to its Board of Trustees.
Her appointment takes effect from tomorrow.
She's a member of Egon Zehnder's Global Executive Committee and also its Managing Partner in Singapore.
NUS Chairman Wong Ngit Liong, says Ms Yew's appointment will bring on board "a wealth of diverse experiences and enriching perspectives that will help steer NUS as it continues to make strong progress as a highly respected, global centre of education and research."
The University also announced that Mr Edward D'Silva, a member of the NUS Board since 2003, will be stepping down today.
The NUS Board of Trustees comprises 24 members appointed by the Minister for Education.
