NTWU hopes fare adjustments will benefit workers in public transport industry
The National Transport Workers Union, NTWU, has expressed hope that the fare adjustments will benefit workers in the public transport industry.
Its Secretary General Fang Chin Poh says like all other workers, workers in the public transport industry look forward to fair annual increments and bonuses, as they have families to support too.
The union says it's also heartened that low-wage workers will be able to benefit from the new concession schemes.
