SINGAPORE: Nanotechnology is set to get a boost in Singapore.
The Nanyang Technological University has opened a joint lab with one of the world’s largest global security and aerospace companies — Lockheed Martin.
They will work on adapting the use of nano—copper for commercial use in planes, trains and satellites.
The material is used to join electronic components.
Nano—copper is expected to improve the reliability and lifespan of these items.
