New Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Law sworn in
SINGAPORE: Singapore’s newly appointed Law Ministry’s new Permanent Secretary has been sworn in.
Acting President Mr J Y Pillay presided over the swearing—in ceremony at the Istana on Monday.
Dr Beh Swan Gin was sworn in as the new Permanent Secretary for the Law Ministry.
He was previously the managing director of the Economic Development Board.
Mr Steven Chong Horng Siong was also sworn in as Singapore’s new Attorney—General.
He had served as a Supreme Court Judge from June 1, 2010 until June 24, 2012.
