New National Stadium to feature world’s largest dome roof
SINGAPORE: When the new National Stadium comes to life in April 2014, it will be iconic in design.
The stadium will be the centre piece of the new $1.33 billion Singapore Sports Hub sprawling across 35 hectares of land.
It will enhance Singapore’s position as a city — not only to live and work in, but to play in too.
It’s still some two years away but when the stadium is completed, it will be a showcase for cutting—edge sports design.
The talking point will be the world’s largest dome roof spanning some 310 metres.
The 55,000 seating capacity stadium with its retractable top will be a fully integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub accessible to everyone 24 hours a day all year round.
