SINGAPORE: A new luxury magazine targeted at women with a high net worth has been launched.

Called High, the bilingual magazine is an extension of MediaCorp’s Style publication and is aimed at affluent women aged between 35 and 50.

It will clue this growing number of women in on high—end, exclusive fashion and lifestyle trends.

Guest editors, such as international fashion correspondent Divia Harilela, have come on board for the first issue.

High is an annual magazine, and for its first issue, there will be only 15,000 copies.

The annual magazine made its debut at a launch party on Thursday evening.

Magazine readership will be largely by invitation only but limited copies will go on sale at Ngee Ann City’s Books Kinokuniya from 21 September.

Group editor for Lifestyle and Parenting of MediaCorp Publishing, Corinne Ng, said: "The most special thing about High is that our tagline, or rather the buzz word for us is quiet luxury, and there are a lot of high net worth individuals in Singapore.

"They have a lot of money but they’re just very quiet. They’re not socialites, they don’t want to be seen about town. But they have a lot of money to spend, and they are after the best experiences. So High answers to that need."
