SINGAPORE: Residents of Yishun will find it easier to commute between their estates and the central business district with a new express bus service.
From 18 February, Service 850E will operate during the morning and evening peak hours on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
In the morning, there’ll be two one—way trips at 7:30am and 7:45am from Yishun Avenue 11, Yishun Avenue 6 and Yishun Ring Road to areas such as Bras Basah Road, Collyer Quay and Shenton Way.
In the evening, two one—way trips will start at 6:15pm and 6:30pm for commuters in areas such as Anson Road, Esplanade Drive and Orchard Road.
For commuters, this means fewer bus stops and a faster route along the Seletar Expressway and the Central Expressway.
