SINGAPORE: SBS Transit said all train services on the North East Line (NEL) fully resumed at 4:35pm, following a disruption on Thursday morning due to a power fault.
Earlier, the train operator said the line experienced a power fault at about 9:50am. And the problem was narrowed to a stretch in the tunnel between HarbourFront and Outram Park stations.
In a statement at about 11:00am, SBS Transit said engineers have traced the power fault to wires in the Overhead Catenary System in a section of the tunnel between the two troubled stations.
To enable repair works to be conducted, train services were disrupted at 10:14am.
