SINGAPORE: The National Wages Council is meeting over the next two months to consider wage guidelines for 2012.
The 36—member council, headed by National University of Singapore Professor Lim Pin, is seeking feedback from members of the public and relevant stakeholders.
It said the views will influence the council’s decision making process.
The National Wages Council consists of representatives from employers, union and the government.
The council said it will consider factors such as Singapore’s economic performance, as well as the global, regional and local economic outlook in its deliberations.
It will also look at Singapore’s competitiveness, labour market conditions, inflation and productivity.
You can send your views to the council by April 13.
