National Wages Council Invites Views about Annual Wage Guidelines
The National Wages Council, NWC, is meeting on the wage guidelines for this year.
In its deliberations, the NWC says it'll consider factors such as Singapore's economic performance, as well as the domestic and global economic outlook.
The NWC will also take into account Singapore's economic competitiveness, labour market conditions, inflation, and productivity growth.
Feedback from the public on what could be included in the annual wage recommendations are welcomed.
NWC says they will be considered as part of the Council's deliberations.
All feedback should be sent to the Secretary of the NWC through mail or email by 25 April 2014:
