National Elective Tamil Language Programme launched

SINGAPORE: A new programme called the National Elective Tamil Language Programme has been launched to boost teaching and learning of the language.

Higher Tamil Language students in secondary schools and Junior College who study Tamil as a H2 subject can now opt to join the programme.

The programme, offered by the Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre also aims to help students get a deeper understanding of Tamil literature and culture.
