MyENV apps wins two awards at Mob-Ex
The National Environment Agency's (NEA) myENV mobile application has bagged two awards at the annual Mob-Ex Awards.
The app won the coveted Gold Award in the Best App/Content by Government/Community category for being the best mobile app which provides a variety of information from weather and air quality, to the nearest hawker centre and the latest dengue clusters in Singapore.
Its clean user interface and clear information also helped it win the Bronze Award for Most Informative Use of Mobile.
Since its launch in July 2011, NEA says myENV has been downloaded over 400,000 times on both iTunes and Android platforms.
It says the app will be refreshed in July to offer push notifications for environmental-related events, as well as location-specific features.
It will also allow users to personalise the app's homepage.
