SINGAPORE: The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has denounced the bomb blasts at the recent Boston Marathon.
In a media statement, MUIS President Alami Musa said: "It is a crime against humanity which had caused the loss of innocent lives."
MUIS sent its deepest condolences to the families of those who perished and pray for the speedy recovery of those who were injured.
It added that "MUIS stands alongside people of all faiths and the global community in opposing such heinous acts wherever they occur." - CNA/ck
