SINGAPORE: More top A—level students are choosing to study at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
The university saw a 43 per cent jump in the number of top students accepting its offers.
NTU said the students were attracted to its comprehensive scholarships and integrated programmes.
It added that there was greater awareness of the university’s international standing.
NTU recently broke into the list of the top 50 universities in the world for the first time.
The university also said that there was rising popularity of its three premier scholars’ programmes.
One such programme is the inaugural University Scholars Programme (USP) which increased its first intake of students, from 50 to 65.
On Friday, 215 students also received the Nanyang Scholarship at the university’s Scholars Award Ceremony.
