More than 500 seniors take part in Bollywood dance competition
SINGAPORE: More than 500 seniors and their families put their best foot forward in taking part in a dance competition — Bollywood style!
The hall at Bedok Community Centre was transformed into a massive dance floor as seniors and their families moved to various dance genres from 3pm on Sunday.
Later on Sunday night, they were joined by Minister in the Prime Minister’s office, Lim Swee Say.
The event, aimed at promoting active lifestyle among seniors, culminated in a Bollywood District Dance Competition organised by the People’s Association.
About six teams took part, all vying for the top prize of S$500 in cash.
