SINGAPORE: Singapore's Foreign Affairs Ministry said it is aware of the gyrocopter crash in Australia involving 18-year-old Singaporean student Jordan Pang, and is providing consular assistance to his family.
Jordan, a passenger in the gyrocopter, was killed along with the 51-year-old pilot, who was said to be experienced.
Their bodies were found early Sunday morning in Kinglake National Park, some 65 kilometres from Melbourne.
The aircraft crashed about six kilometres from the Yarra Valley Conference Centre near Dixons Creek.
Police said the pair had been flying over a remote area of the ranges to view bushfire damage. - CNA/gn
