SINGAPORE: MediaCorp's okto Kids' Congress has returned this year to empower and encourage children.
The youth platform allows students to share ideas on how to make Singapore better.
This year's congress got children to think about how to promote a more gracious society.
The event involved over 300 students from various primary schools.
This year, parents were also involved to let them experience firsthand what youths are capable of.
MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC and guest-of-honour for okto Kids' Congress, Mr Hri Kumar Nair said: "It's an excellent idea to give the kids a platform to showcase their skills, showcase their thoughts on the issues of the day - today was about graciousness. It provides a real insight into how kids look at things." - CNA/ck
