SINGAPORE: Singapore’s leading media company MediaCorp won 21 awards at this year’s PromaxBDA World Gold Awards held in New York on June 14.
The awards include the Design Awards and the Promotion and Marketing Awards.
The international awards honour the best in promotion and marketing, as well as the best design work released worldwide.
"Jackie Chan Movie Special" trailer clinched gold for Channel 8 in the Television Video Presentation category.
The channel also took home two other gold medals, two silver and a bronze.
Channel 8 was awarded gold in the Press Kit Print Collateral category and its Out—of—home, Print and Poster Advertising campaign for television drama, "A Song to Remember".
Channel 5 also won a total of five medals — two silver and three bronze — at the awards.
Among them is a Christmas trailer from The Noose team, which bagged the Bronze medal.
"The Noose Goes International!" also won the silver medal in the "Comedy Program Promotion Campaign using Integrated Media Sports Program Promotion".
