
SINGAPORE: Singapore’s leading media company MediaCorp has topped Marketing magazine’s Television Broadcaster of the Year 2012 survey for the second year running.
Other broadcasters involved in the survey included Fox International Channels, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific and BBC Worldwide Channels Asia.
The survey asked which top TV broadcasters, advertisers and senior agency professionals are most likely to work with.
MediaCorp is the preferred choice for marketeers when it comes to aiming for a general population of 18 and above.
Channels 5, 8 and U are the top three channels marketeers use.
Channels 5, U and okto are also popular choices for marketeers when targeting adolescents between 13 and 17.
Channel NewsAsia is a popular choice for marketeers when targeting managing directors, CEOs and car buyers.
270 advertisers and senior agency professionals took part in the survey —— 199 were from the client advertiser side and 71 from the agency side.
