
SINGAPORE: Singapore’s leading media company MediaCorp has signed an agreement with Sofialys to provide innovative mobile ad solutions.
Paris—based Sofialys is a mobile marketing and advertising solutions provider with offices in Barcelona, Singapore, Frankfurt and Mexico City.
It currently works with key players within the telecoms industry, including operators and publishers in all five continents.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Sofialys said under the agreement, it will work with MediaCorp to implement a new Multi—platform Ad—serving solution.
It added that the new platform seeks to harness the full potential of mobile advertising to improve brand and audience engagement through integrated content.
The firm said its partnership with MediaCorp could pave the way for its expansion into the region.
Sofialys’ managing director, Emmanuel Allix, said "Sofialys has very strong ambition in the region to develop a strategic crossroad for our International development. Leveraging on our partnerships with MediaCorp, Sofialys will ideally position ourselves in a clear leadership role, which will be critical to our next move into South East Asian markets such as Indonesia or Vietnam."
Commenting on the announcement, Goh Kim Soon, vice president of Interactive Media at MediaCorp said: "With the massive adoption of smartphones and tablets in Singapore and Asia Pacific, MediaCorp is committed to providing the best possible services for our clients and consumers. As we develop, focus and roll out our mobile strategy, Sofialys was selected as our technology provider because of the sophisticated solutions they provide."
Sofialys said it plans to roll out new cutting edge mobile technology features in Asia in the coming months.
In Europe, the firm has launched several campaigns involving mobile video formats, 3D/Rich Media experiences as well as Global Positioning System (GPS).
