Man charged with stealing baby milk powder
SINGAPORE: A 45—year—old man has been charged with stealing baby milk powder at a supermarket in the Upper Bukit Timah area.
Rico Bahara, a Singapore permanent resident, is accused of stealing about S$450 worth of baby milk powder on January 24.
He also allegedly stole a baking tray worth about S$15.
A week later, Bahara was accused of trying to steal more baby milk powder, worth nearly S$400, at the same supermarket.
If found guilty, Bahara faces up to seven years’ jail and a fine.
