SINGAPORE: An unemployed man has been charged with causing hurt to an elderly man in a bus.
Kwok Weng Hon, 25, allegedly punched 72—year—old Ng Kim Toh’s face in bus service no 147 while the vehicle was travelling along Upper Serangoon Road on 21July this year.
The assault allegedly left Ng with a dislocated nose.
If convicted, Kwok faces a jail term of up to 10 years, fine and even caning.
The case will come up for further mention later this month.
