SINGAPORE: A man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a house and slashing his wife and brother—in—law.
The incident happened at about 6am on Saturday.
Police had received a call about a man breaking into an HDB flat in Yishun estate.
It was alleged that the 42—year—old suspect had also used a knife to slash both his wife and brother—in—law.
The man fled the scene after the assault, leaving behind the knife.
Officers arrested the suspect about 18 hours later in the vicinity of Telok Blangah.
A man will be charged in court on Monday.
