SINGAPORE: A lorry travelling along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) caught fire on Thursday morning near the Woodlands Ave 12 exit, in the direction of Changi Airport.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call at 6.55am.
No one was injured.
The SCDF added that the fire involved the engine compartment of the lorry.
In an advisory issued after the incident, SCDF said drivers are reminded to service their vehicles regularly.
Drivers are also advised to equip their vehicles with a fire extinguisher. - CNA/nd
