SINGAPORE: Local team, Shiok, were narrowly edged out by Team Philippines 11—10 in the A final of the 14th Singapore Ultimate Open.

It was a thrilling final which saw both sides go neck—to—neck for most of the game.
The breakthrough came from Team Philippines, whose brilliant game—play saw Cherry Sy(see) level the match 9—9 (all) with a spectacular leap at the edge of the endzone.
They then sealed the winning point with a hammer throw to finish 11—10.
Team Philippines captain, Kristan Guerrero, on their hard—fought victory, said: "We feel great, we work on the plan, we thought we have a plan, we were down in the first half, but we say we are gonna get it so. I’m really, really happy that everyone focused their mind on the game."
