Lawyer charged with six counts of forgery between September 2012 and April 2013
A lawyer was today charged with six counts of forgery, allegedly committed between September 2012 and April 2013.
43-year-old Gopinath B Pillai, a lawyer at the time of the alleged offences, is accused of forging High Court documents.
These were related to a lawsuit involving Mr Eddie Lo Kuen Cheung and Golden Sky International Holdings Limited & Another.
Anyone convicted of forgery in a capacity as a public servant, the maximum penalty is 10 years' jail and a fine.
