IDA Accreditation Programme
Technology startups based in Singapore will soon get a leg up, with a new accreditation framework.
The accreditation process is offered by the Infocomm Development Authority or IDA.
This was announced by Minister for Communications and Information Yaacob Ibrahim during his ministry's Committee of Supply debate in Parliament today.
"This will help these enterprises establish their credentials, increase visibility to potential Government and larger enterprise buyers, and gain more opportunities through Government work."
Companies will be evaluated on product functionality, performance and security.
Their financial standing and ability to deliver will also be taken into account.
The framework is expected to be completed by June.
