Heavy rain causes flash floods, uproots tree & lamp post
SINGAPORE: Heavy showers on Saturday evening caused flash floods in Veerasamy Road.
The heavy downpour also resulted in some problems on the roads.
Among those affected were motorists travelling along Holland Road towards the city.
A tree and lamp post were uprooted near Dempsey Road.
Two of the three lanes were blocked and this resulted in a traffic jam.
No one was injured and NParks personnel later cleared the area.
