SINGAPORE: The haze condition in Singapore is approaching hazardous level on Thursday.
The PSI at noon was at 299, up from 198 at 11am.
The PSI has been rising steadily since 8am when it was at 122.
At 9am, the PSI was at 131 and 153 at 10am.
The haze in Singapore reached hazardous level on Wednesday, with the PSI reading hitting an all-time high of 321 at 10pm.
Singapore and Indonesia are scheduled to hold emergency talks on Thursday to battle the worsening haze situation.

Earlier Thursday, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Vivian Balakrishnan, in a Facebook post, said Singapore will insist on definitive action at the meeting in Jakarta.
Dr Balakrishnan added that no country of corporation has the right to pollute the air at the expense of Singaporeans' health and well-being.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has also taken precaution amid the worsening haze situation.
Its air traffic controllers have allowed more time between flight takeoffs and landings as an added precautionary measure as visibility drops.
Meanwhile, the Home Affairs Ministry on Thursday said officers deployed outdoors for long hours may don masks where necessary. - CNA/fa
