Govt to publish Healthy Living Masterplan in April
The Health Ministry has completed its Healthy Living Masterplan, or HLMP, report, and it will be released next month.
Parliamentary Secretary for Health Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, who led the study, says the HLMP aims to make healthy living accessible, natural and effortless for all Singaporeans.
"We consulted widely and gathered ideas from Singaporeans who shared their views on how we could lead healthier lives. Similarly, they shared the obstacles that stood in their way. We have taken their feedback into consideration as we consolidated our findings and planned our initiatives."
He says the HLMP will carry out its initiatives in the community and the workplace, as well as in schools.
This is so that Singaporeans will be inculcated with healthy habits from a young age.
