Global food safety partnership meets in Singapore
More than 70 countries, international organisations and non-governmental groups are meeting in Singapore at the Global Food Safety Partnership, to discuss future plans to shape the world's response to food safety challenges.
It's their second-ever annual conference.
They aim to strengthen food safety protections and support efficient global supply chains, thus reducing the risks to consumers and businesses, and increasing the benefits to public health and the economy.
The Global Food Safety Partnership's actions are also supported by a World Bank multi-donor trust fund.
