GCE 'A' and 'O' Level exam provider, Cambridge Assessment, sets up HQ in Singapore
Cambridge Assessment, which runs international examinations such as the GCE 'A' and 'O' Level, is setting up its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
Known as the Cambridge Assessment Singapore (CAS), the office at North Bridge Road will officially open tomorrow with a staff of about 15.
CAS Chair Ann Puntis says the office will focus on supporting international schools in Singapore and in the region that provide education leading to Cambridge qualifications.
Support will also be in areas such as teachers' professional development and paedagogy.
The non-profit organisation will receive some 7 million dollars in grant over the next three years from Cambridge University.
