Football: LionsXII beat Selangor 1—0
SINGAPORE: The LionsXII kicked off their Malaysian Super League (MSL) home campaign in a winning way, beating Selangor 1—0 at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday.
After a 15—minute rain delay, the Lions wasted no time as they pressured the visitors right from the start.
And the home side were rewarded in the 23rd minute.
The match finished 1—0 in favour of the Lions as they held on for their second straight win, after opening their MSL campaign with a 1—0 victory over Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) three days ago in Seremban.
