Fire at Sengkang coffeeshop

SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at a coffee shop in Block 303 Anchorvale Link on Monday morning.

There were no reports of injuries.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the case at 7.45am.

Two fire engines, one red rhino, two fire bikes, one ambulance and one support vehicle were dispatched.

SCDF officers found the fire involved three stalls in the coffee shop. They brought the fire under control within 15 minutes.

SCDF personnel also conducted search operations at the multi—storey carpark above the coffee shop as a precautionary measure.

About 20 people within the premises had self—evacuated prior to SCDF’s arrival.

It is not known what started the fire that was extinguished within half an hour.
