Extension block at Metta School to support learning for its special needs students under school's Vocational Education Programme
A new five-storey extension block at Metta School will support all aspects of learning for its special needs students.
Education Minister Heng Swee Keat said this before he officially opened the new block.
The extension block is equipped with new facilities for the School's Vocational Education Programme.
These facilities include a baking and food preparation kitchen, a hotel room and a serviced apartment.
The block also holds 20 classrooms that will cater to an additional 150 students with mild intellectual disabilities and autism.
The School currently has an enrolment of 400 students.
