Experts from Saudi Arabia's Care and Counselling Centre to share experiences in Singapore: DPM Teo
Experts from the Saudi Arabia's Care and Counselling Centre will share their experiences in Singapore as part of a conference organised by the Religious Rehabilitation Group next year.
Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean who visited the Gulf State recently said Saudi Arabia is in a challenging neighbourhood.
He noted the country has made enormous efforts in countering terrorism and extremism, and said Singapore wants to learn from them.
Singapore and Saudi Arabia plan to cooperate in areas such as combating transnational crime and terrorism, under a Memorandum of Intent between Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior.
