Ex—teacher charged with having sex with boy
SINGAPORE: A former teacher has been charged with having sex with a 13—year—old boy. The 32—year—old mother was at the time of the alleged offences, a primary school teacher.
She faces five counts of consensual sex with an underage boy and one count of committing an obscene act.
Both the woman and the boy cannot be named due to a gag order.
The alleged incidents took place between May and July 2011.
Court documents said the sexual acts supposedly took place at Sembawang Park, a staircase at Choa Chu Kang Loop, Yishun Ring Road and her house.
If found guilty of having consensual sex with an underage boy, the former teacher faces a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine.
For committing an obscene act with a child, she could be jailed up to five years and fined S$10,000.
The woman is out on bail of S$10,000.
