East bound train services between Queenstown & Outram Park resume
SINGAPORE: East bound train services on the East West Line between Queenstown and Outram Park stations have been restored, following a series of stoppages.
Train operator SMRT said the disruptions were to allow police to investigate an incident that occurred on the tracks between Redhill and Tiong Bahru stations.
Bus bridging and free bus services were available until 10.30pm at designated boarding points outside affected stations.
SMRT said passengers who could not continue with their journey because of the disruption can get a refund at the Passenger Service Centre at any of SMRT’s 83 stations in the next 14 days.
