Early morning fire in Loyang left 3 people with smoke inhalation
A fire broke out in a factory at Loyang Crescent in the early hours on Monday, leaving three people suffering from smoke inhalation.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to an incident at the location shortly before 4am.
On arrival at the scene, fire fighters were greeted with a blaze involving cleaning agents in the production area of the factory.
In a statement this morning, SCDF said the size of the fire was approximately 20 metres by 20 metres.
It said it brought the fire under control within 20 minutes.
SCDF said some 40 of its personnel were involved in the operation.
Three people -- two women and a man -- were sent to Changi General Hospital for smoke inhalation.
